SCSU Resource Centre

The SCSU Resource Centre in Castlegar is where many of the campaigns and political events of the SCSU are organized as well as the place where many services are provided.

Services like free condoms, femenine hygene products by donation, the food bank, relevant information on different social service centres in the area.

It is also a breast-feeding friendly place, so new moms can come by and use it to feed their children.

For more information on the SCSU Resource Centre drop by the office, across from room 0-127, call 250-365-1385 or email

We have a Services Director and Organiser for the Union available to help members with any problems they are having at school. Please note, these people are not counsellors but are there to advise members of the appeal processes and services of the College, and to act as advocates. They can also refer members to community services and resources.

The Resource Centre is intended as a place where members can go for advice, information, referrals, and advocacy. Please note that the Resource Centre does not offer counseling services, but can point you in the right direction if that is what you need.
